CASORT gives CAA’s the ability to quickly and easily access, monitor, and direct the status of its on-going safety oversight actions and workforce. It was designed to ensure that CAA personnel accomplish their functions in a standardized manner and to collect records of their actions, decisions, approvals, and supporting documents.
Managed use of CASORT will ensure a CAA has records to demonstrate its State’s international aviation safety oversight obligations.

CASORT provides a disciplined approach to capturing records of CAA oversight. It is designed to accommodate the actions of CAA inspectors of all disciplines and the para-technical support personnel, capturing them as they are occurring. There are programmed internal notifications, reminders and standard reports to ensure completion of planned actions and events.
